Cortés Selected as a Superhero Sidekick for Annual Charity Fundraiser

I’m thrilled to have joined the Superhero Sidekicks team with Walkin' & Rollin' Costumes!

What does this mean? It means I’ve committed to raising at least $2,000 so the nonprofit and its volunteers can design and create custom-built Halloween costumes for kids in walkers and wheelchairs … FREE of charge.

The non-profit’s mission:
“Every child deserves a cool costume. Sometimes, though, that’s a little more challenging, especially for those in walkers and wheelchairs. That’s why Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes was born: to be able to create something truly unique and custom-made for these special kids … something that’s free of charge to the family. Thanks to a nationwide network of volunteers, sponsors and donors, we’re able to bring smiles to kids’ faces around the country and bring their imaginations to life.”

Since 2015, Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes has made more than 135 costumes for kids all over the U.S. This year’s requests include a Cinderella Carriage, Transformers Bumblebee, and a Minnie Mouse Bowtique Van! Past costumes have ranged from Toy Story characters and modern-day superheroes to Star Wars-inspired and pretty princesses, and more. You can see past costumes here. They’re really freakin’ cool!

You should the smile on the kids’ faces once their costumes are revealed!

While Walkin’ & Rollin’ Costumes strives to build all requested costumes each year, it’s entirely dependent on the availability of funds and volunteers.

So, help me help them. If you can, please donate to my Superhero Sidekicks page prior to September 14th, 2023, to help this organization out. (Be sure to donate under my name to help me reach my goal!)

Thanks greatly for your consideration.
