FAQs

  • Usually not. If you’re well-versed in your industry and are able to provide me with all the pertinent details (or direct me to where I can find them), we’ll be good. That’s the magic of working with a good copywriter.

  • I’ve likely done something similar, just ask. After doing this for 25+ years, I may very well have something similar to show—whether it be by industry, medium, or tone. And if I don’t, I’ll be the first one to let you know if I’m a good fit for the job or not.

  • As a senior-level professional copywriter, I prefer to work with those who can see value based on past experience, portfolio samples, and reputation. So, short answer? No. Unless they’re paid … at my rate. Then we can talk. 😁

  • Initially, you’ll fill out the intake form. If we’re a good fit, I’ll follow up to schedule a discovery call.

Once I have the pertinent details in hand, I’ll put together an estimate or proposal for you to approve. A working agreement and request for deposit will follow.

    Then, we’ll rock.

We’ll agree to check-ins and deadlines. I’ll do the work. You’ll be happy. A final draft will be sent followed by an invoice.

  • We’ll do a kick-off meeting: I’ll ask questions, you provide info. If you don’t have a creative brief, I’m happy to put one together. Once approved, I’ll share initial concepts and/or a first draft of copy. You give feedback. I make any necessary tweaks. And done!

  • I charge by the project. I believe in offering value and custom solutions for my clients, not just my time. Here, clients get the benefit of my skill, talent, experience, consultation, usage, and expertise … in addition to my time dedicated to concepting, copywriting and/or proofreading.

Want an estimate? I'd love to provide one! Because every project is unique, I'll need some key details from you first. Start with this intake form and, if it seems like we're a good fit, I'll reach out to schedule a call.

  • Each project is unique and will have its own set of variables. Let’s discuss this upon engagement. Otherwise, it totally depends on my availability at the time and where your project lands in the queue.

Need a quick turnaround? Just ask. I’m happy to make accommodations (for an upcharge) if and when possible. Note: Priority in the queue is given to repeat clients … and those who pay on time. ✅

  • I follow standard freelance business practices which include: an estimate, working agreement, deposit, and 30-day payment terms. Late fees, rush fees, cancellation and kill fees are also all customary in the industry.

  • I’m proud to be part of an extensive network of talented freelancers from which I can refer or bring in additional talent—anything from a designer and photographer, web developer and social media manager, and more … I gotchu’. 🤗

  • It’s impossible to guarantee results in advertising and marketing simply because there are SO MANY variables out of one’s control. However, I promise to do my best work to the best of my ability with the utmost professionalism and using my experience, tools, and tactics. That much I can guarantee.

Because creativity is subjective, I encourage you to view my portfolio before engaging. And, if and when we do talk, be as clear as possible as to what it is you want and by when. If, in the off chance you’re not happy with the work, be open and honest with constructive criticism so we can work together to find a win-win solution.

Got other questions? Just ask.

Ready to Rock?
