Cortés Named 2023 Kansas WOMEN'S BUSINESS ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR

Julie Cortés, Freelance Rockstar, was presented the 2023 Kansas Women’s Business Advocate Award on Friday, September 30, 2023, in Topeka, by Kansas Governor, Laura Kelly, according to Rhonda Harris, Office of Minority and Women Business Development Director, Kansas Department of Commerce. The designation was announced during the Kansas Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week luncheon which recognized 13 companies and 3 individuals from across the state to recognize the economic contributions of woman- and minority-owned businesses in Kansas.

Cortés was recognized with the award based on her dedication to mentoring, coaching, educating and speaking to Kansas women in business. She is also a noted freelance advertising and marketing copywriter who is celebrating her 25th anniversary in business this year.
