You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.

As freelancers, it’s our responsibility to do everything we can do in our power to ensure we succeed.

Question is, are you doing just that?

There are plenty of opportunities out there to quench your thirst. Make sure you’re taking advantage of them to better your chances at success.

So many people look at volunteering as a waste of their time. They go in with blinders thinking that they’re donating free work.

While sure, that may certainly be the case, what they’re missing out on is ALL the benefits that come along with giving back to the community.

Use me as a prime example. I have built my business and reputation by volunteering. You can easily do the same.

People sure have some strong opinions on using the word “rockstar” in a professional title or bio.

Who knew??

I happened to catch such an exchange on Twitter that enlightened me as to this apparent popular opinion.
